Team Building Activities in St. Augustine, Florida
The moss-covered trees and narrow streets of St. Augustine are perfect for the ScavengerQuest treasure hunt, a smartphone – fueled team building activity!
Beautiful St. Augustine is the oldest continuously occupied European settlement in the U.S., founded by the Spanish in 1565. The Plaza de la Constitucion is the heart of the downtown area, with most of St. Augustine’s historic buildings just a block or two away. Perhaps the most significant structure is the Castillo de San Marcos, the fort constructed by the Spanish between 1672 and 1695. The Castillo has never been conquered – largely due to its special shell stone (coquina) construction which absorbs the blasts from cannonballs rather than crumbling.
In ScavengerQuest, small teams of 4-6 will search for clues hidden throughout the town at sites such as the Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, and of course the Castillo. There might even be a hint as to the location of a certain fountain that Ponce de Leon was searching for.
The oceanfront ambiance of St. Augustine is also ideal for another team event, Gold Medal Games. The sunny golden beaches of the Atlantic Coast can be your playground for thrilling Olympic-style activities. Friendly competition is the main theme as your team fights for the gold!
