Team Building Activities in Annapolis, Maryland

Located less than an hour away from both Washington DC and Baltimore, Annapolis is a beautiful setting for a team building event! Maryland’s capital city has a quaint, colonial feel with narrow, cobblestone streets and small shops and historic houses. Once a center for shipping and trade on the Chesapeake Bay, Annapolis is still a very active area for recreational sailing and power boating and is also home to the United States Naval Academy.

A great way to explore the town is with our ScavengerQuest treasure hunts. Teams of 3-5 navigate past colonial-era taverns, historic churches and the capitol dome while they search for the answers, take photos and complete entertaining challenges. Along the way, participants will discover some surprising facts about Annapolis’ links to an English queen, the founding of the US, the struggle for civil rights, a drunken drummer and a goat named Bill. Wrap up the day with food and drinks in one of the many restaurants or pubs that surround Market House Square.

Interested in an out-of-this-world team building activity? Intergalactic Adventure engages participants from the start with a challenging mission – save our galaxy from evil aliens and prevent the destruction of Earth. Success (and survival!) depend on teams efficiently using resources, working together and, of course, having fun!

Discover a wide of range of team building events that can be held in Annapolis, MD. For a more down-to-Earth team building event with a charitable twist, consider our Wheels for the World or SmileKits programs. Both benefit local individuals and organizations in need. In Wheels for the World, children who might have otherwise grown up without ever having a bicycle are given one of their very own. Working in teams, participants earn the parts of a bicycle to assemble by completing a series of fun challenges. The finished bicycles are then donated to young children through a local charity such as the United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters or the Salvation Army. In a similar way, the SmileKits team building activity helps put a smile on the face of those in need by providing a helping hand. Each kit contains a variety of items that fill a necessary but sometimes overlooked gap – hypo-allergenic toys and activities for a children’s hospital, or toiletries and other basics for a woman’s shelter. Your team will have fun and be able to make a real and very positive impact on the local community at the same time.
