When you think of Hawaii, you think of the miles of sandy beaches and palm trees swaying in the warm tropical breeze. What location is more ideal for a fun outdoor team building activity than that? Gold Medal Games is the perfect beach event. Teams compete in wacky, Competition-style races all with one thing in mind - the gold medal! Teamwork, communication and trust are key as teams battle against each other and race against the clock in a combination of fun, physical, and problem solving team building activities.
As soon as you open the doors to the Pacific Aerospace Museum (or any conference center of your choosing), you’ll transported into the future. The year is 2144 and you’re in a very dangerous situation: aliens are about to invade and it’s up to you to save the galaxy. Are you up for the challenge? Don’t worry. You have your team members to help, but you’ll have to work together well to develop a strategy to defeat the aliens in our Intergalactic Adventure team building.
Team Samurai is another unique team building activity that can be held at any resort either indoors or outdoors. Your team will explore various aspects of the martial arts as a way of better understanding themselves and the dynamics of the team. Don’t worry, there is no fighting and no uncomfortable physical contact…just martial art techniques and principles that lead to greater awareness and positive results. You will engage in a series of activities that relate martial art concepts and techniques to team practices, such as the power of positive energy or chi, the difference between being a fountain or a drain, and applying the three the three states of mind to the workplace. The exercises can be done by anyone in any physical condition.
If you’re interested, you can add our meditation component to Team Samurai. We know that the pace of the work environment and an individual’s workload can create stress. Imagine your team collectively learning a way to turn down the volume on workplace drama and tension. How would that impact morale? How would it impact performance?
